Ashley McMahan, TCRG is the Director for the Fort Walton Beach branch. Ashley holds an MS in Management and Leadership from Troy University. She received her TCRG certification in September of 2014 and has since coached dancers to achieve their goals at the regional, national, and international levels.
Ashley began dancing in 2001 under the instruction of Cindy Brainerd. In 2004, she became one of the first students under Karl Drake's Fort Walton Beach location and began her competitive career. In just three short years, she reached the championship level and qualified for the North American Irish Dance Championships. Since then, Ashley has competed at five regional championships and three national championships. She has performed in numerous St. Patrick's Day productions in venues all over the Florida Panhandle. She has also performed with famous Irish musicians including Eileen Ivers and The Chieftains.
Ashley, in conjunction with Cindy Brainerd, TCRG, coached the Figure Choreography team “Going Global” to win the 2017 Southern Region Oireachtas.
Ashley has found her true passion in passing on her knowledge of Irish dancing. She is dedicated to helping each of the Carpenter Academy’s students reach their goals.
